Cotton socks have copper toes
The question was how to maximize copper's antimicrobial properties keeping our everyday socks

Copper is antimicrobial and is widely used in many industries, including medical, due to its ability to kill bacteria on contact. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently registered copper as an antimicrobial. Copper may be used to treat conditions like athlete's foot.
45% Copper infused fiber
After researching, the team decided to use socks with 45% copper fiber in the toe areas, mixed with polyester, and soft cotton for the rest. This provides both functionality and comfort for active individuals with sweaty feet who want to prevent foot problems.
No more fungus

Developing socks that provide the benefits of copper while maintaining softness and comfort can be challenging. This is because copper is a metal and socks are typically made of fabric. When attempting to increase the amount of copper in the socks, it tends to slide down, shrink after washing, and develop holes, which can be quite problematic.
The solution was the combination
After conducting multiple trials, we have devised a solution for combining cotton socks with copper toes. These socks offer both softness and comfort, and are made with 45% copper-infused fibers, which possess anti-fungal properties. Essentially, they are just like your regular cotton socks, but with copper toes.
The toes are durable
We were unaware of this, but we recently discovered that the toes, made with 45% copper-infused fiber, are extremely durable, similar to denim fabric. We hope this will prevent the big toes from sticking out of the socks and causing holes, which lead to wasted socks.
